How much does the course cost?

Having completed a ten-day Vipassana course students are then eligible to assist in a number of ways. These courses are run solely on a danā (donation) basis. No charges are made, not even to cover the cost of food and accommodation. The teachers do not receive remuneration either. All who help on the courses do so as volunteers. Every student who has experienced the benefits of completing a Vipassana course and wishes to give others that same opportunity then donate for this to be possible. Whether a donation is large or small, it should be given with the wish to  help others: ‘The course I have taken has been paid for through the generosity of past students; now let me give something towards the cost of a future course, so that others may also benefit by this technique.’
